The Business Insights Manager leads the business insights function, managing a team of analysts and working in close collaboration with data engineering and business intelligence teams. The role ensures data-driven insights are translated into strategic actions that directly support business objectives. Acting as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, the manager champions Agile delivery practices, facilitates Scrum ceremonies, and leverages Microsoft Fabric to deliver scalable, high-impact analytics solutions.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and delivery of business insights using Microsoft Fabric tools such as Power BI, Synapse, and Data Factory.
- Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and ensure insights are actionable and aligned with strategic goals.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and foster a culture of iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data pipelines and models support business insight generation.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to prioritise insight initiatives and manage delivery roadmaps.
- Promote a data-driven decision-making culture across the organisation.
- Manage and develop a team of business insight analysts, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Oversee the creation of dashboards, reports, and analytical models that inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure insights are communicated effectively to stakeholders through storytelling and visualisation.
- Work closely with data engineering to ensure data availability, quality, and relevance.
- Implement Agile practices including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy standards.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to business insights and team performance.
What You’ll Bring
- Deep understanding of business strategy and operational KPIs; ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions; experience engaging with senior leaders to drive data-informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric (Power BI, Synapse, Data Factory).
- Strong understanding of data visualisation, storytelling, and business metrics.
- Familiarity with data governance and quality assurance practices.

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
