Job Description
As a CT technician within our Computed Tomography Department, you will play a critical role in the inspection, quality assurance and validation of components.
In this position, you will be helping to drive performance & reliability on track and play a crucial part in continuous improvement, production delivery and the validation of manufacturing processes and designs.
Principal Accountabilities
- Complete CT scans and evaluations of parts in line with written processes and acceptance standards
- Produce technical reports of CT data
- Effectively communicate findings and engage in broad discussions around results.
- Work as part of the wider team to ensure CT systems run lights out, delivering high quality data in line with component manufacturing and servicing timelines.
- Support department goals in best practices and processes to be world class in all areas.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Proven expertise in operating CT scanners, with a strong understanding of CT data evaluation.
- Skilled in writing clear and detailed technical reports.
- Familiarity with Nikon CT equipment is highly desirable.
- Experience using VGStudio Max is advantageous.
- Knowledge of other non-destructive testing (NDT) methods is a plus.
- Background in fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environments, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and performance targets.
- Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
- Fully proficient in computer systems and software.
