The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

The successful candidate will be required to work as part of our team to develop initial scheme design, prepare Planning Submission drawings, coordinated drawing packages, Building Warrant submissions and site visits.

The role includes responsibilities likely to involve:

  • Design development from feasibility and concept through to detailed proposals
  • Strong technical ability and able to produce technical design and production information through RIBA Stages 3-5
  • Coordination with consultants, specialists and contractors
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with external consultants and clients
  • Site visits, inspections and support during construction

Responsibilities will evolve in line with your experience, interests and strengths.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Motivated and eager to succeed within their profession
  • Comfortable at preparing drawings for Planning or Building Warrant Submissions
  • Good technical skills and knowledge that can be developed within the practice
  • Proactive and willing to take on responsibilities
  • Fluent in AutoCAD and/or REVIT
  • Sketchup/Vray 3D rendering experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Knowledge of NBS Spec Writing (dependent on position being applied for)

We have in the past mentored several Part 2 students who have gone on to become chartered architects. Depending on a candidate's experience and ambition, we are supportive and encourage further training relevant to the workplace.
