Our Manufacturing Engineering team are growing to support our business plan. This role is crucial to the success of our Manufacturing operations, as you will be responsible for the processes and complexities of how we build new models - taking them from initial concept designs through prototype stages into series production.In this role, you will have plenty of variety - everyone in the team will have a wide exposure to the business, including interfacing with concept design and engineering teams across multiple projects, you will witness and influence projects from beginning to end.
Vehicle assembly conceptStarting it the virtual environment and transitioning to physical validation & deliveryProcess sequencing, documentation, and product traceability methodologiesTo be developed in line with existing Series products & future strategies brand evolutionPFMEATo support and drive the implementation of best practices to improve RFT deliveryHours per Car generation & reportingOwnership and maintenance of the Hours Per Car (HPC) data for new model introductions, ensuring plant efficiency and output targets can be achieved.Working with Engineering and Operations teams to identify and resolve production bottlenecksLine balancingIncluding running time & motion studies across the plantFacility layout & utilisationCollaborating with Engineering & Operations teams in leading the design of new / amendments to existing layouts and material flow to ensure new models align with the overall plan and vision for the facilitySupport and influence the following cross functional business activities to achieve the Project deliverables such as: Concept / Design Reviews Engineering release delivery DFMEA
