Purpose of the Role: A senior role within our inspection department, that is shift responsible for the prioritisation of workloads & delivery of manufactured components that conform to design intent to support production targets and demand.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Ensure adherence to procedures, work instructions, and metrology best practices to deliver components and tooling that meet design intent.
- Drive on-time delivery during shift rotations by managing resources effectively and meeting production targets.
- Act as the key liaison between inspection and other departments, attending production meetings and providing status updates.
- Deliver detailed handovers to ensure seamless transition of priorities and information between shifts.
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times, never compromising employee safety.
Job requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Fully indentured engineering background in precision engineering or similar industry.
- Proficient in online and offline CMM programming for complex components and assemblies.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and best practices, with experience in high-speed manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with PCDIMIS, Dassault Systems, VX Elements, GOM Inspect, and Polyworks (advantageous).
- Skilled in workload prioritization, mentoring others, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
