Overview
In this role you drive end-to-end operational delivery for Mc Laren’s global Experiences portfolio, leading high-profile events and global launches.
You’ll provide senior operational leadership, manage budgets and supplier relationships, and shape scalable delivery standards across the Experiences function.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences while mitigating risks and ensuring governance.
This is a hands-on leadership role with international travel and weekend work, focused on impactful, luxury-brand events.

Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end planning and delivery of allocated events with accountability for objectives, budgets, quality and customer experience
- Act as Event Lead on designated events with full responsibility for planning, stakeholder coordination, supplier management and post-event outcomes
- Lead operational delivery workstreams across major global events, product launches, hospitality programmes and PURE experiences
- Develop delivery strategies, operational plans and implementation approaches aligned with programme objectives
- Adapt plans and reallocate resources to respond to changing event requirements
- Create and maintain project plans, critical paths, run sheets, risk registers and contingency frameworks
- Lead supplier selection, performance management and contract delivery across programmes
- Manage operational budgets, forecasts and expenditure with strong financial control
- Approve and implement risk mitigation within governance frameworks
- Oversee venue, accommodation, transport, hospitality, fleet and logistics planning across multiple projects
- Provide on-site operational leadership during live events and direct agencies and production teams
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders across Brand, PR, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, CRM and regional teams
- Lead post-event evaluations and embed lessons learned into future planning
- Drive improvements in event governance, templates and operating procedures across Experiences
- Provide leadership and development support to Event Specialists and delivery resources
- Contribute operational insights to future programme planning and capacity requirements
- Ensure activity adheres to Mc Laren brand standards, customer experience expectations and health and safety obligations
- Key requirements
- Significant experience in event management, experiential marketing or programme delivery leading complex or international events
- Strong experience managing large budgets, supplier contracts and agency relationships
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams and influence stakeholders
- Experience managing operational risk, governance and compliance in live events
- Advanced project and program management capability
- Strong commercial awareness and budget ownership
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in luxury, premium hospitality, automotive or lifestyle sectors preferred
- Understanding of customer experience and brand standards in experiential delivery
