The focus is twofold: maintaining stability and efficiency of business-as-usual (BAU) operations while driving growth through innovation and strategic enhancements. The Business Analyst will manage feedback loops, proactively support end users, and ensure all issues and improvements are effectively captured in the backlog. They will also analyse product performance, identify opportunities for scaling and help align product development with business objectives and technical capabilities.

  • Issue Monitoring & Resolution: Proactively track, manage and prioritise BAU issues, ensuring rapid turnaround times and minimising disruptions to daily operations. Collaborate with technical teams to diagnose root causes and recommend sustainable fixes.
  • Backlog Management: Document, triage and manage issues, bugs, and enhancement requests within the backlog. Maintain balance between BAU resolution and new product changes, ensuring an effective pipeline of improvements that considers system dependencies.
  • Requirement Gathering & Technical Translation: Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to collect and document comprehensive requirements. Translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications that reflect system capabilities and limitations.
  • Sprint Planning: Partner with the product management team to prioritise and plan sprints, aligning business needs with timely and efficient delivery while considering technical complexity and resource constraints.
  • User Engagement & Feedback Management: Frequently interact with end users to capture feedback, understand pain points, and ensure their needs are continuously addressed. Gather insights on how users interact with technology to inform product improvements.
  • End User Support and Service: Act as a key support function for end users, offering guidance, troubleshooting, and proactive assistance to maintain a high standard of service and system usability.
  • Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring: Analyse product and user data to identify trends, issues, and enhancement opportunities. Use insights to recommend improvements that optimise both user experience and system performance.
  • Documentation: Develop detailed and structured documentation for requirements, processes, system interactions, and user feedback for reference and transparency.
