b Overview /b p In this role you drive the delivery of series electrical activity within the Electrical Series team, coordinating internal work and external headcount to support MPC, series programmes and software/hardware changes. You will lead RCA and issue resolution, ensure KPI targets are met, and mentor junior colleagues. The role sits in the EE Programmes department and focuses on bridging design, quality, and program timing to keep fast-paced vehicle projects on track. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to shape reliable electrical systems for high-performance vehicles. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li 25 days holiday /li li enhanced company pension scheme /li li discretionary annual bonus /li li private medical insurance /li li life assurance /li li sabbatical after two years’ service /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead ES C support within MPC and manage timely resolution of electrical issues /li li Maintain a plan for component/QCR resolution delivery and ensure critical issues are RCA’d /li li Track and meet series KPIs through effective headcount management /li li Lead investigations for aftersales technical requests and ensure resolutions are documented /li li Support ES C team with quality issue investigation and software change coordination with Software Integration engineer /li li Lead design reviews, root-cause analysis and process improvement initiatives /li li Update electrical standards and provide concise technical input for decision meetings /li li Mentor juniors and lead small workstreams with high autonomy /li li Take ownership of designs, propose trade-offs and ensure alignment with series targets /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree (2:1 or above) /li li Experience on high-volume or niche-volume OEM or Tier 1 programs /li li Strong problem-solving skills for electro-mechanical systems /li li Knowledge of DFMEA and its automotive application /li li Understanding of automotive communication protocols (Ethernet, CAN, LIN) /li li Experience with project/issue tracking tools (Mantis, Jira) /li li Ability to design/optimize and solve novel electrical problems /li li Familiarity with CATIA V5 for basic component analysis (preferred) /li /ul ul li strong technical communication /li li ability to mentor others /li li high autonomy and decision-making /li li electrical hardware design and interfaces /li li DFMEA in automotive context /li li Ethernet/CAN/LIN protocols /li /ul
