b Overview /b p In this role you lead end-to-end quality inspection across Body Assembly, Surface Finish, and General Assembly validation, ensuring products meet McLaren’s standards. You provide daily leadership to the inspection team and embed quality practices throughout manufacturing. You will manage Level Zero landscape KPIs, optimise resources, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. Your work directly influences product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction as McLaren pursues manufacturing excellence. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays /li li Enhanced company pension scheme /li li Discretionary annual bonus /li li Private medical insurance /li li Life assurance /li li Sabbatical after two years’ service /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Oversee quality inspection activities across Body Assembly, Surface Finish, and General Assembly build validation /li li Lead the inspection team to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications /li li Provide daily leadership, coaching, and direction to the inspection team /li li Develop, manage, and improve quality processes and standards to enhance efficiency and product quality /li li Champion continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and empower team contributions /li li Monitor quality metrics, drive corrective and preventive actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams /li li Engage internal stakeholders to align quality objectives with business goals /li li Establish and monitor KPIs for Level Zero management and identify improvement opportunities /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (Master’s preferred) /li li Significant experience in quality management within manufacturing, ideally automotive /li li Proven leadership experience to inspire and motivate teams /li li Strong understanding of quality systems and methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) /li li Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and implementing best practices /li li Excellent communication and data-analytic skills /li li Professional quality certification (e.g., ASQ CMQ/OE) desirable /li /ul ul li leadership /li li communication /li li problem-solving /li li quality systems /li li Six Sigma /li li Lean /li /ul
