Job Title Systems Engineer Manufacturing Manufacturing Engineering Full Time Contract type Permanent 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday You will be responsible for testing and validating s/w download, and EOL processes for our products and rapid resolution of issues in plant. Support the implementation and test of the s/w download system. Establish and refine s/w download and EOL test processes for pre-series builds and volume production, ensuring repeatability and adherence to requirements. Collaborate with and challenge our contract manufacturer to implement and optimize the processes in a volume manufacturing environment. Additional line on diagnostic work / systems works during the build phases (launch support)Feedback issues captured into issue management and escalated as necessary. Business Knowledge: Good understanding of electrical software / systems Broad amount of experience in an automotive systems engineeringEssential Functional / Technical Skills: Structured thinking with an organized approach and delivery focusFlexibility to travel if required Pro-active personality with positive attitude and good people-skills able to co-ordinate cross functional teams. Willingness to develop skillset in manufacturing methodologies (lean, MTM, Line balance, RCA).
