In this role you will lead the transformation and governance of the Supplier Quality & Development function at McLaren Automotive. You will partner with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality to standardise ways of working and improve supplier performance across current programmes and future launches. You will champion digital innovation and automation to drive efficiency, accountability and smarter ways of working. This position sits at the heart of cross-functional initiatives that shape how supplier quality is managed and delivered at scale. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead transformation and standardisation of SQD processes with a scalable framework.
- Develop and embed governance structures to drive accountability, visibility, and performance.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives leveraging automation, AI and new technologies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, manage risks, and deliver across series production and new model programmes.
- Act as the trusted governance contact, providing clear reporting, escalation management and progress tracking to senior stakeholders.
Tasks:
- Experience in supplier quality, process governance, business transformation or operational excellence in automotive or advanced manufacturing.
- Proven track record leading cross-functional improvement programmes and delivering lasting change.
- Strong understanding of supplier quality methodologies and standards such as IATF 16949, APQP and PPAP.
- Experience driving digital improvement initiatives, with interest in automation and data-driven decision making.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and project leadership skills.
