As McLaren Automotive's Principal Complex Analysis Engineer, you will lead investigations into the most challenging quality and engineering issues across vehicle life cycles. You will guide cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive transformational quality improvements that protect customers. This role places you at the heart of problem solving, shaping strategy across manufacturing, development, warranty, and vehicle programmes. You'll combine expert analysis with strong leadership to elevate product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Lead investigations into the most complex quality and engineering challenges across the vehicle lifecycle.
- Drive customer protection activities and containment actions to ensure robust issue resolution.
- Provide technical leadership and coaching to engineers, embedding best practice problem-solving.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions and deliver improvements.
- Manage quality transformation projects that enhance business performance, product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key requirements:
- Extensive experience leading structured problem-solving in engineering, automotive, manufacturing or related technical environments.
- Expert knowledge of quality methodologies, data analysis and root cause investigation techniques.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, make informed decisions and solve highly complex technical challenges.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with confidence presenting at all levels.
