Purpose of the role
You’ll be responsible for preparing, painting, vinyl wrapping and finishing Formula One components—delivering the highest standard of visual excellence without ever compromising aerodynamic performance.
What you’ll do
- Prepare surfaces to ensure flawless finish and protect aerodynamic performance
- Carry out detailed masking and re-masking to achieve precision finishing
- Apply vinyl wraps and detailing to the highest standards, including critical edge treatments
- Spray paint components in line with design and marketing intent across race and show car programmes
- Finish 3D printed parts, tooling and pattern work
- Drive weight optimisation while maintaining uncompromised quality
- Work safely and in line with all health and safety requirements
Job requirements
What you’ll bring
- Experience in high-end paint processes (masking, priming, colour finishing) within motorsport or similar industries
- Strong knowledge of vinyl application techniques and finishing standards
- Understanding of composite components and their finishing to F1 aerodynamic and brand standards
- Experience in process improvement and continuous development
