Purpose of the Role
An exciting opportunity has risen for a Non-Destructive Testing Technician to join our Formula One team. Working with cutting‑edge inspection technologies, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring both new and in‑service components meet the highest quality standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to driver safety and the optimisation of on‑track performance, helping us maintain our commitment to excellence in racing. This role operates on a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern.
What You’ll Do
- Perform inspections on new and in‑service components using a variety of NDT methods and techniques.
- Conduct geometrical inspections using a range of tools and methodologies.
- Support and travel to test events and race weekends throughout the year.
- Work within an advanced inspection environment using both modern and conventional technologies.
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive experience applying NDT techniques within aerospace, motorsport, or similar high‑precision industries.
- Experience with laser tracking measurement systems is advantageous.
- PCN/ASNT Level 2 or EN4179/NAS410 certification in Ultrasonic, Eddy-Current, Magnetic and Penetrant flaw detection.
- Strong understanding of composites, composite manufacturing, and testing techniques.
- High attention to detail and fully computer literate including experience with MRP systems.
- Familiarity with PolyWorks, GOM or PC DIMS is desirable.
