What to Expect
As a senior technician within the production area, reporting to the Team Leader/Group Leader at McLaren Automotive, you will take on a role ensuring the seamless and efficient operation within one of our zonal areas, ensuring production continue a consistent build process, by covering absence and supporting through the built-in quality stations.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all health and safety guidelines are adhered too, the build process (PES) is followed to build a supercar to the desired standard by supporting with inspection of the vehicle, to elevate any build issues to your leader and can learn all processes within your zone. Your contributions will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious goals as a company.

What You'll Bring
- Understand and follow detailed process documents relating to the assembling of vehicles.
- Ensure that the standard of the vehicles is to the highest quality, with the ability to feedback to technicians any concerns found.
- Ability to escal
- Ensure 5s within your work area in line with McLaren expectations.
- Maintain standards set such as, using the uniform/ clothing provided.
- Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards is essential. The technician must always adhere to safety protocols.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities as requested by your line manager.
- Flexibility and a willing to learn is essential within this role as you will be expected to understand multiple processes to ensure coverage.
- Ability to conduct on process training for any new employees entering the business at technician level or learning a new process within your area.
