Ensure information from Finance Business Partners is available in the right format to FP&A to surface insights for decision and performance. Play a central role in the development and governance of reports, Business Intelligence Dashboards and Enterprise Performance Management systems. Participate in the forecast process. Review, understand and challenge the plans submitted by the Finance Business Partners on behalf of their business stakeholders. Support the overall process on an ad hoc basis to solve process pain points and implement continuous improvement solutions. Play a central role in managing direct and indirect cashflows forecasting and partnering closely with Treasury to deliver accurate liquidity analysis and compelling financial narrative.

Develop new capabilities in our Enterprise Performance Management system, working with the Finance Transformation team, Finance Business Partners, IT and specialist external partners (as required). Collaborate with the FP&A team, Controllership and Finance Business Partners to develop reports, dashboards and business intelligence tools that attend their reporting needs and those of their business stakeholders. 'Problem-solve' new situations and accounting challenges as the business evolves, working with the Controllership team and the Finance Business Partners. Maintain and improve Management Information governance collaboratively with the Controllership and Finance Business Partnering teams to ensure month-end procedures, systems and dimensions meet quality requirements. Ensure Management Accounting information is accurate, consistent, granular, available in the right format and fit for consumption by FP&A and Finance Business Partners, enabling them to produce insights for performance management, decision-making, planning and analysis.

What You’ll Bring

  • Understanding and practice of relevant accounting topics such as product development capex, supplier tooling, labour capitalisation, inventory, cost of production / cost of goods sold, revenue / cost recognition, sales, customer discounts and marketing incentives.
  • Industry experience in businesses with manufacturing, supply chain and product development e.g. automotive, fast-moving consumer goods, capital goods.
  • Track-record producing management information that not only fulfils statutory requirements but also delivers high-quality consistent and granular data that can reliably be used for performance management and decision-making.
  • Demonstrable experience in direct and indirect cashflow forecasting, providing analysis and narrative and serving as the primary link across FP&A and Treasury to support effective liquidity management.
  • Experienced in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP ECC, Power BI and Power Query/M Query, with the ability to design automated reporting solutions and streamline finance data processes.
  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
