The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 € per year.

Management of the whole series vehicle QCR (Quality Concern Report) landscape, to ensure accuracy, focus, and governance. Using data inputs from Warranty, McLaren Product Audit (MPA) and Manufacturing Quality to steer business focus on the most critical issues. Support and guide the creation and management of standard operating procedures for in-plant quality inspections based on defect mapping and analysis. Report back all plant and field concerns to the wider business and ensure containment and countermeasure of concern – directly contributing to improvements in monitored vehicle line quality metrics resulting in an even more positive experience for our retailers and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and record Warranty claims reported by the global dealer network.
  • Raise, assign, and facilitate QCRs (Quality Concern Reports) through the process where required.
  • Govern the quality concern system for all issues meeting threshold criteria.
  • Drive activity on prioritised issues and manage status reporting to senior management.
  • Lead daily cross-functional assessments of field concerns with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.
  • Deliver the voice of the customer to MPC (McLaren Production Centre).
  • Maintain and generate specific concern KPIs for various business uses.
  • Work with Warranty, MPA, and Manufacturing Quality to deliver a single agenda for quality.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, SQD (Supplier Quality Development), Manufacturing and Suppliers to guarantee completion of countermeasures and lessons-learned activities.
  • Assist in the improvement of business processes (Warranty, MPA and Vehicle Line Quality).
  • Maintain, endorse, and demonstrate McLaren values at all times.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience of OEM warranty processes.
  • Experience of production quality management processes.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and McLaren products is advantageous.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Automotive relevant degree or sufficient foundation in engineering.
  • Understanding and experience in a manufacturing/process-driven environment.
  • Practical Problem Solving (PPS), 8D, or Six Sigma experience would be beneficial.
  • Experienced user of quality improvement tools, QMS, etc.
  • Project Management skills would be beneficial.
  • Experience of stakeholder and workflow coordination.
  • Confident in public speaking, leading presentations, and guiding meetings.
