As a Senior Product Audit Specialist, you'll act as the voice of the customer within our manufacturing environment, using audit findings, retailer feedback and warranty insights to drive continuous improvement.
Working closely with Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing teams, you'll help shape quality standards, enhance product performance and ensure every Mc Laren meets the high expectations of our customers.
- What You’ll Do
- Lead the development of the Mc Laren Product Audit (MPA) process, strengthening links between manufacturing, retailer feedback, warranty performance and customer expectations.
- Review and approve supplier concessions, boundary extensions and quality-related requests.
- Drive robust audit measurement systems, including MSA activities and attribute sampling plans.
- Support and develop MPA Auditors, ensuring consistent auditing standards and technical capability.
- Manage audit feedback and escalation processes, ensuring issues are effectively contained, investigated and resolved.
- Identify and escalation quality trends through structured problem-solving activities.
- Provide input to quality standards, programme reviews and new model readiness assessments.
- Plan and conduct detailed vehicle audits against design intent, both static and dynamic.
- Act as deputy for the MPA Manager when required.
Requirements
- Significant automotive experience within quality, auditing or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, construction methods and manufacturing processes.
- Experience carrying out cosmetic and attribute-based vehicle audits.
- Excellent analytical skills, including Excel and Power Point; Power BI experience would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence presenting to all levels of the business.
- A methodical, detail-focused approach and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally and support varying business needs.
- A full clean driving licence.
