We are recruiting for Graduates to join our Finance team at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey. As a Finance Graduate, you will gain valuable experience across technical accounting, financial control and business partnering, working at the heart of decision-making in one of the world\’s most iconic automotive brands.This is a three-year structured programme designed to accelerate your development and support your journey toward becoming a qualified accountant. During the programme, you will study towards an accredited professional qualification (either CIMA or ACCA) while gaining practical, rotational experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.Please note this is an onsite position.What You\’ll DoOver the course of three years, you will complete a series of immersive placements within the Finance function, building both your technical expertise and strategic business acumen.Key areas of experience will include:Technical Accounting & Financial Control:Gain exposure to accounting principles, compliance, audit preparation, and financial reporting.Support the month-end close process and accuracy of the general ledger.Apply financial controls to ensure risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.Business Partnering:Work closely with commercial and operational teams to understand cost drivers and revenue forecasts.Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.Provide actionable insights and support decision-making across functions such as Manufacturing, Commercial, Aftersales, and Product Development.Project-Based Work:Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve cost efficiency, reporting accuracy, and financial transparency.Support the wider Finance team during high-profile business planning cycles and strategic reviews.As part of the graduate scheme, you will benefit from tailored development workshops, one-on-one mentoring, and full support through your qualification journey, equipping you for a permanent finance role within McLaren.What You\’ll BringYou must have achieved, or be on track to achieve, a 2:1 or above in a relevant Finance degree.Strong analytical thinking, commercial awareness, and an interest in financial strategy.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.A keen interest in the automotive industry and a desire to contribute to a high-performance culture.A proactive, organised mindset with a commitment to ongoing development and learning.You must also bring a passion for cars, and a desire to work at the cutting edge of the automotive industry within our Finance business areaPersonal Attributes:We\’re looking for individuals who bring a financial mindset, a collaborative approach, and an appetite for working in a dynamic, innovative business.
