Purpose of the Role
Supporting the stores SMT (surface mount technology) kitting processes on a day to day basis. This includes taking a kit list and producing a kit ready for the SMT department to load and build products. This role supports the manufacturing of electronics components in motorsport, automotive and rail business lines, and covers other stores requirements when required.
Principal Accountabilities
- Accuracy of material held within the store environment
- Adherence to the cycle counting schedule
- Shipping and delivery of orders to schedule
- Kitting work orders to schedule
- Booking in purchase orders within the specified lead time
- Maintaining housekeeping standards
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Kitting of work orders
- Counting back of work orders
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping the stores area clean
- Cycle counting and, when required, full stock checks
- Stock error investigations
- Maintenance of the material master data in SAGE
- Booking in and putting away of parts when required
- Processing of requisitions when required
- Packing and shipping of orders when required
- Pickup and delivery of goods between sites when required
- Unloading & loading of vehicles when required
