Role Summary
The Remote Occupational Health Advisor role at MCL Medics is an exciting opportunity for an experienced OHA to join our expanding team, supporting our clients to achieve their statutory duties to protect and promote the health, safety and welfare of people at work. We’re looking for a reliable and motivated professional with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills who is committed to ongoing professional development, has the ability to analyse & interpret data and problem‑solving skills to meet the needs of the business and clients. The successful applicant will be an autonomous self‑starter who takes initiative and is comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment managing a variety of new cases per day.
As part of the MCL Medics team this role is fully remote with a key focus on remote case management
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Workplace assessments
- Reporting on health risks
- Pre‑placement screenings
- Clinical audit
- Undertaking remote case management, producing quality reports for the clients
- Managing Health Records ensuring safe storage, security and confidentiality of OH records, at all times complying with relevant legislation and good practice
- Work to strict protocols & procedures set by MCL Medics and in line with SEQOHS accreditation
What Are We Looking For?
- RGN/RMN with current NMC registration and prior Occupational Health case management experience
- The ability to competently and confidently manage cases.
- Desirable: Occupational Health qualification; relevant experience considered
- Proactive, friendly, and professional individuals with workload management confidence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to contribute ideas and suggestions for improvements in order to achieve more effective working practices
- Good understanding of Microsoft packages, and comfortable in use of OH software
