Role Summary
As a growing organisation with a diverse customer base, we are looking to bolster our IT department with this exciting new ad hoc role. We are looking for a Mobile App developer, with experience in the development of iOS and Android apps to take our systems to the next level. Particularly with experience in Objective C, Kotlin and PHP (Laravel). You will be working with a team of people who are very passionate about their work and the delivery of their systems. We are committed to following best practices and fostering an environment that supports both the professional and personal growth of our team.
Key Skills Include:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with and developing with Objective C, Kotlin and PHP (Laravel) in production environments, where best practice is followed
- Experience with the PHP Standard Recommendation (PSR) coding standard
- Good experience in Git source/version control management
- Demonstrable ability to write clean, structured, maintainable code
- Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles and patterns
- Experience with security, form validation, XSS prevention, SQL injection and other OWASP guidelines
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- A team player, with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Excellent level of written and spoken English
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with systems in the healthcare/wellbeing sector
- Linux Ubuntu Server stack
- DNS/hosting
