From recent developments of our new web-based applications we are now recruiting for an experienced Software Developer. You will be required to develop new web-based applications, upgrade and enhance existing applications using cutting-edge technology. You will maintain and debug current products by observing, testing, diagnosing and fixing faults in the software.
Responsibilities
- Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific requirements.
- Correct errors by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced.
- Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.
- Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program.
Skills and Qualifications
- Min 2:1 Honour's degree in a Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar programming role.
- Experience with programming languages such as ASP.NET, VB.NET, C, C#, Java.
- Understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL.
- Working knowledge of the software development life cycle.
- Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills.

- Salary: Competitive with the market.
- Benefits: Flexible working hours 37.5 hours per week. Core hours are between 10am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 10am to 3pm.
