We are seeking a Finance Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will support the finance team by assisting on key finance activities. The ideal candidate will be qualified, part-qualified or working towards accounting technician qualifications with experience in a finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with processing purchase invoices and matching GRNs/POs
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Resolve supplier queries
- Assist with payment runs
- Prepare prepayments and accrual schedules
- Assist with weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end journal preparations
- Maintain accurate records of credit card spend and complete necessary reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Serve as a point of contact for finance-related queries
- Support wider finance tasks and contribute to continuous process improvement
- Ad hoc duties as and when required
Essential Criteria
- Qualified Accounting Technician, IATI, AAT or working towards qualification
- Relevant experience working in a busy Finance department
- Strong Excel Skills
- Computer literate and competent in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
Desirable Criteria
- Sage 200
