Our client is a long established chartered accountants based in South Down. They currently employ an experienced team made up of a mix of Qualified and Part/training accountants. Their client base is varied and ranges from sole traders, SMEs and some larger group companies.
This exciting opportunity will give you lots of client focus as you will still get to look after your own clients as well as an internal focus working closely with the owners to drive through efficiencies ensuring client expectations are exceeded.
Example of duties will include:
- Manage teamwork flows so everyone delivers excellent customer service
- Scheduling work in the team again to ensure agreed deadlines
- Helping more junior team members both with client queries but also their own professional development
- Client portfolio will include preparing accounts, personal tax compliance and other tax duties including VAT, CIS, Corporate Tax, etc.
The ideal person:
- An experienced finance professional currently working in an accounting firm. You can be fully qualified or qualified by experience
- Strong attention to detail with great technical expertise
- Enjoys adding value and offering great service β keen to hear from applicants who enjoy improving internal processes and enhancing customer services
- Someone who enjoys helping a team be their best and encouraging best practice.
