This is an exciting opportunity to join a long established boutique firm who work largely within the Corporate Finance sector. They offer Tax Consulting for their strong client portfolio which is made up of OMBs based in Northern Ireland, many of whom are sizeable and complex.
The role will be a mix of complex tax planning with corporate clients, private clients, personal tax structures etc.
- Provision of general tax advice to a wide ranging portfolio of clients made up of owner managed businesses who are involved in merger and acquisitions and corporate restructuring.
- Preparation of Tax Due Diligence reports and provision of advice in respect of M&A and funding matters.
- Shareholder advisory assignments and structure planning.
- Ability to carry out detailed technical research both individually and as part of the team.
- CAI and/or CTA qualified.
- Ability to work efficiently and prioritise as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage client expectations.
- Excellent technical skills, coupled with strong commercial awareness.
- Keen eye for detail and solutions driven.
