Our exclusive client is a long standing privately owned group of companies. They work in a fast paced sector offering retail, wholesale and distribution services across a specialist sector. Their success has been down to a strong leadership team, excellent company collaboration as well as a wonderful product offering.
The finance team is made up of a very experienced FD, then you if successful (group FC). The wider team consists of experienced accounts assistants, AP, AR Credit Control and general administration. Employing 130+ across several sites this really is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for enhanced responsibility and an opportunity to add commercially to the wider business.
Main Duties:
- Manage month end process including full financial and management accounts
- Assist with Bi Monthly board pack
- Enhance internal financial controls and processes
- Strong IT skills as they start their journey onto a new integrated IT platform so excellent IT skills is a must.
- Year end accounts with liaison with external bodies and advisors
- Oversee payroll, VAT and other stat returns
Ideal Candidate: must be a fully qualified accountant.
