On behalf of our client, a growing local Construction and Facilities Management Company, McKinty Associates are seeking to recruit an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate's main responsibilities will be to oversee the Accounts Payable function.

Key Duties:

  • Processing of purchase invoices, matching to PO system & posting to ledger.
  • Monthly supplier reconciliations.
  • Query resolution, identify & resolve any discrepancies.
  • Processing of subcontractor invoices, including CIS set-ups & verifications.
  • Assisting with month-end payment runs.
  • Relevant ad hoc duties as required.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Min 3+ years experience working as part of a busy finance team.
  • Practical knowledge of computerised accounts packages (Sage / Xero).
  • Experience of CIS returns (Essential).
  • Construction/Facilities Maintenance experience (Desirable).
  • Strong IT skills including a high level of expertise in use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and workload.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Strong planning and organising skills.
  • Good numeracy and time management skills.
  • Keen eye for detail.
