Our client is a leading manufacturing business based north side of Belfast. They boast a strong local finance team and are cutting edge in terms of technology and commerciality. Reporting into a very experienced Financial Controller, this exciting role will include both financial reporting and management accounts for the business, so we are pleased to say it will be a nice varied role. The business offers a 9-5 working environment and excellent benefits.

Below is some brief information about the duties and what to expect:

  • Review and improve the completeness of all Finance processes and help develop the profitability reporting with suggestions on improvements.
  • Prepare full monthly accounts including Balance Sheet and P&L month end close.
  • Assist with budget process and business planning.
  • Assist with year end audit liaison to help with smooth year end close.
  • Work closely with the FC and local leadership team in providing decision support.
  • Strong IT skills, especially Excel, are really important in this commercial role.
  • Ideally 3 years post qualification.
  • Great communication and a can do attitude.
  • Previous payroll experience and VAT would be advantageous.
