McKinty Associates are pleased to be working with an established accountancy practice based in Belfast who have a current need for an experienced Accounts professional to join their busy team. The ideal candidate will undertake a hands-on role preparing accounts to TB, bookkeeping, payroll and some tax responsibilities for a mixed client base.

Main duties will include:

  • Bookkeeping
  • Processing Purchase / Sales Invoices
  • Reconciliations
  • Payroll
  • VAT Returns
  • Basic personal and corporate tax
  • Annual Accounts / Year End Accounts
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Essential eligibility criteria:

  • Previous relevant experience in a small to medium sized practice environment (Preferred)
  • Experience of using computerised accounting software (Xero/Sage/QuickBooks)
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Motivated and flexible attitude
  • Ability to liaise with clients across a range of sectors
  • Team player
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Effective communicator
