McKinty Associates are pleased to be working on behalf of a Belfast based Accountancy practice with an immediate need for an experienced Accounts professional to join their team. You will undertake a hands-on role preparing accounts, bookkeeping and payroll.
Main duties will include:
- Bookkeeping
- Payroll Processing
- Purchase / Sales Invoices
- Reconciliations
- VAT Returns
- Basic personal and corporate tax
- Annual Accounts / Year End Accounts
- Ad hoc duties as required
Essential eligibility criteria:
- Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable (1 Year plus in Practice)
- Experience of using computerised accounting software (Xero/Sage/Brightpay)
- Good working knowledge of practical payroll matters and current legislation
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Motivated and flexible attitude
- Ability to liaise with clients across a range of sectors
- Team player
- Keen eye for detail
- Effective communicator
