On behalf of our client, a growing wholesale and distribution business, McKinty Associates are delighted to invite an experienced Accounts Technician to join our clients finance team initially on a 3-month contract basis. We are happy to consider both Part-time or Full-time applications for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliations
- Sales/Purchase Ledger
- Credit control
- VAT Returns
- Monthly management accounts
- Stock
- Ad hoc duties as required by the MD
Eligibility criteria:
- Recent experience in a fast-paced commercial accounting role
- Previous experience in FMCG (desirable not essential)
- Experience of preparing management accounts
- Competent experience using Sage 200 / other relevant accounting programs
- Excellent Excel skills (vlookups, sumif, pivot tables etc)
- Ability to work effectively both alone and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Time management and organisation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
