Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant Co. Down Salary c. £31,000 – £34,000 DOE McKinty Associates are pleased to be working with a Global Engineering firm who have a requirement for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. Role Overview: Working within a busy finance team, to ensure all income is invoiced and monies due are received. Duties/Responsibilities: Banking Raising invoices accurately Filing payment run documents Setting up vendor / customer accounts Managing credit control – credit checks, payment chasing and sending statements Analysis of debtors accounts Liaising with other departments – releasing holds / payment notifications Supporting month end processes Other adhoc duties as required to support the wider business Eligibility criteria: 5 GCSEs to include Mathematics and English at Grade C and above Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes Previous experience in a similar role (2 years or more) Experience in accounts packages Proficient in the use of MS Office software (particularly Excel) Strong planning and organising skills Good numeracy and time management skills Keen eye for detail Team player Applications for this role will be considered immediately with a view to placing the right individual ASAP, so please register your interest early.
