McKinty Associates are working with a Belfast based contract services provider who have a requirement for an Accounts Technician to join their team. The Accounts Technician will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective financial and administration service.
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful individual will work to support the organisation across a variety of areas including:
- Payroll
- Management accounts
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Involvement in tender cost calculations
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with Management accounts
- Financial analysis to senior management on a contract-by-contract basis
- Overall P&L analysis
- Payroll tasks including collating all payroll information, monitoring all annual leave, processing of new starters/leavers, fortnightly payroll run, producing reports, submitting BACS files, etc.
Requirements:
- Professional accountancy qualification - Qualified Accounts Technician / Part Qualified Accountant
- Experience in accounts packages
- Excellent Excel skills (vlookups, sumif, pivot tables, etc.)
