Overview
Senior Manager, Global Card Programs & Payment Strategy at McKinsey & Company. You will join the McKinsey Optimize function that delivers distinctive experiences across services including travel, events, real estate, sourcing, technology and purchasing. You will lead the Corporate Card portfolio with responsibility for strategy and execution across Central Bill, Buyer Card, Supplier Card, and Corporate Card programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver payment strategies that enhance financial efficiency, streamline operations, and mitigate risks.
- Manage provider relationships, negotiate program terms, and collaborate across functions to expand payment usage, improve reconciliation processes, and ensure compliance with internal policies and vendor agreements.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and leverage outsourcing partners to support scalability and operational excellence.
- Drive the evolution of the corporate card portfolio strategy to unlock financial value and deliver seamless, compliant solutions that empower the firm to scale and innovate effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- Undergraduate degree; advanced graduate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 7+ years of payments and corporate card management.
- Excellent organization capabilities, with the ability to initiate tasks independently and see them through to completion.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and local office language(s), with the ability to adapt your style to different perspectives and seniority levels.
- Proficient in data-driven decision making based on facts and logical reasoning.
- Ability to create work product–focused materials/output, including PowerPoint decks, Excel models, articles, or other written deliverables.
- Exceptional time management to meet responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment.
