Legal Secretary Position
Our client, a major American law firm, requires an experienced legal secretary to support a couple of fee earners and lawyers within their buoyant corporate team. Experience in corporate law is ideal but not essential, and they will consider applicants with backgrounds in other areas of law.
Duties to be expected include:
- Liaising with clients
- Preparing monthly bills
- Creating and editing documents
- Arranging meetings – internal and external
- Arranging conference calls
- Travel management and organisation
- Other ad hoc duties
They are looking for someone who has the ability to hit the ground running, be flexible, and provide dependable support to the team. Strong IT skills (experience with PowerPoint is essential as you will be assisting with BD work including putting pitches together) are needed, as well as a proactive, enthusiastic attitude.
Currently, this position is a fixed contract for 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal secretary who is looking for exposure within a global law firm and wants to sample the culture of working for a company with a real international presence. Excellent benefits are provided.
