Our client, a prestigious, highly-regarded London law firm, are looking for a risk and compliance analyst to join their central R&C team. If you have been working within a risk and compliance team and are looking to take the next step into a highly progressive law firm then this is a fantastic opportunity.
- Carrying out anti-money laundering (AML) checks.
- Analysing potential conflicts for the firm.
- Reviewing documentation submitted from new clients.
- Creating and updating client records.
- Liaising with staff, fee earners and stakeholders within the business regarding their client’s compliance matters.
- Other ad hoc projects and duties within the team.
Previous experience in a risk and compliance role within a law firm is essential. An understanding of SRA regulations and being proficient in completing AML enquires and a sharp eye for potential conflicts is needed. The core skillsets needed to thrive in this team include being able to work as part of a cooperative group, disciplined organisation skills, strong communication skills (both verbal and written), and a passion for building relationships in a very client centred environment.
