Job Title: Practice Manager
Location: Kent
Salary: £75,000 – £100,000
Hybrid: Yes
One of our clients, a forward-thinking law firm with several offices in Kent, are looking for an experienced, commercially astute practice manager to take over the day-to-day responsibility for the operational management of the firm. This is a newly created and pivotal role, designed to support the firm’s continued growth and success and will suit an experienced practice manager with strong business acumen.
This is a key leadership role designed to take over vital functions currently being dealt with by two equity partners, enabling the partnership to focus more strategically on business development, fee earning, and client delivery. You will directly oversee the HR Manager, Marketing Manager, and Finance Manager, as well as chair management and partner meetings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of HR, marketing and finance, acting as a vital bridge between the fee-earning and support functions. You will report directly to the equity partners and be instrumental in driving performance, improving processes, and ensuring the firm remains compliant and competitive.
It is essential that you have proven experience in a senior operations/practice management role within another law firm, and a strong understanding of legal practice operations including SRA compliance, HR, finance, and marketing. You will have responsibility for the financial management of the firm including forecasting and financial reporting.
This is an exciting opportunity within an established, innovative law firm with a collaborative and collegiate firm culture. There is long-term potential for further leadership and strategic input as the firm continues to expand.
