Our client, an established US law firm, is seeking a receptionist for their Central London office. The role will involve a broad range of front of house and administration duties. It is essential that you have at least two years' experience as a receptionist, ideally from another law firm but they will also consider candidates who have worked in other corporate / global environments.
Expected duties will include:
- Meeting and greeting all visitors and internal stakeholders
- Answering, screening and directing all phone calls to the appropriate individual
- Providing administrative and PA support to the lawyers
- Setting up meeting rooms
- Liaising with contractors and vendors
- Filing and maintaining records
- Managing the office calendar
- Assisting with administrative work
- Booking taxis and couriers
- Setting up conference calls and video meetings
- Scheduling meetings
Excellent communication and customer service skills are required as there will be extensive liaison with international offices, high profile clients, and leading lawyers. Exceptional client care / customer services skills as well as strong administration skills are essential as the role extends beyond just front of house duties.
