Our client, a boutique London law firm with an established client base, are looking to recruit two LPC graduates to join two of their leading teams as paralegals. One role is for the employment team and the other for their residential property team.
The residential property team deal with HNW and UHNW private clients in the South-West area and it is essential that you have excellent communication and client skills as you will be expected to build rapport and relationships with established and new clients and act on your own initiative. The employment team largely deal with respondent work and again, excellent client skills are essential.
Residential ParalegalYou will be trained to deal with the full residential transaction from instruction to completion and in addition to assisting the partners with their work, over time you will be looking after your own caseload of conveyancing transactions. This role would suit an LPC Graduate / paralegal with a genuine interest in residential property and is looking to progress their career in a London law firm. The firm have a history recruiting their trainees from their paralegal team and so there may be potential for the role to lead to a training contract. It is essential that you are a very strong communicator with excellent academics, the LPC and a dynamic, proactive attitude. Employment ParalegalThe successful paralegal will be dealing with a variety of tasks including:
- document management
- legal research
- drafting legal documents including briefs, appeals, agreements etc.
- preparing bundles / documents for meetings and court
- other general paralegal assistance as required
