Our client, a renowned intellectual property specialist, is seeking an experienced individual to provide paralegal and secretarial support to a team of IP solicitors. It is essential that you have prior experience supporting IP lawyers, ideally within contentious IP (litigation).

  • Drafting and formatting a range of correspondence and formal legal documentation
  • Assisting with the preparation and review of legal agreements
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support, including organising files, managing inboxes, and handling document scanning and copying
  • Communicating with clients and third parties via email on behalf of solicitors
  • Carrying out conflict checks in line with firm procedures
  • Preparing and processing client billing, including invoices, and managing any necessary adjustments such as credits or debits
  • Setting up and closing case files using internal systems, including Inprotech and CMS
  • Monitoring and maintaining important deadlines within case management systems and diaries
  • Handling expense submissions and related administrative processes
  • Delivering PA support such as coordinating travel arrangements, booking accommodation and transport, and managing schedules

This opportunity is ideal for a highly organised and detail-focused individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is confident supporting multiple stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, excellent written communication skills, and strong IT skills are essential. Hybrid working is available; two days remote working.
