Responsibilities

  • Checking incoming office / client receipts and transfers – check online banking system regularly throughout the day for updated activity.
  • Maintain all client account transactions in accordance with the Solicitors Accounts rules and dealing with queries relating to client accounts.
  • Bank reconciliations, billing and purchase ledger updates.
  • Petty cash – reconciling on a weekly basis, checking all slips are signed appropriately with supporting documentation, invoices etc.

Qualifications

It is essential you have a grounding in legal accounts, at the very least a few month’s experience working in a law firm.

This would be an ideal opportunity for someone working in legal accounts in a law firm outside of London who is looking for a new opportunity in the city.

Hybrid working opportunities post-probation / training and a chance to get further training in a broader role.
