Leading international law firm with stunning offices in the City is looking for a Legal Personal Assistant to support two senior partners, including the London managing partner. The role requires strong organisational skills, discretion and the ability to manage a busy workload across multiple time zones.
Responsibilities
- Extensive and complex diary management, often across several time zones, and troubleshooting scheduling conflicts
- Proactively anticipating the partners’ needs in advance of meetings, conferences, etc. and taking action to ensure they are properly prepared
- Typing and amending documents including correspondence, agreements, and digital dictation
- Travel management including hotels, taxis and transfers, flights, currency, visas, and creating detailed itineraries
- Drafting, amending, and proof‑reading agendas, PowerPoint presentations and other pitch documents
- Arranging events, lunches, dinners, seminars, and meetings, including sourcing restaurants and private hire venues
- Carrying out conflict checks on new clients and collating the KYC documentation
- Proofreading documents
- Tracking expenses
- Anticipating potential issues and understanding priorities
- Assisting with confidential projects
Qualifications
Substantial experience as a legal PA is essential. The ideal candidate has supported partners at senior, managing or board level and can multi‑task, manage highly confidential documents, and maintain a busy workload. Excellent communication skills are required, as you will be dealing with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
