Our client, a leading criminal law firm, is seeking an LPC graduate looking for a start in criminal law. Previous experience is not necessary but it is a requirement that you have either the LPC or BPC qualification.
- Drafting correspondence, documents, witness statements etc.
- Liaising with clients.
- Attending court proceedings.
- Research projects and cases.
- Communicating with the legal aid agency.
Whilst no prior experience is required you will need to demonstrate exceptional organisation skills; an attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload is a must. Communication skills to deal with a client facing role, a good telephone manner and a positive and proactive attitude is imperative.
