Our client, a highly respected boutique law firm in Central London, is seeking an experienced legal PA to support a team of lawyers specialising in family law. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and adaptable legal PA who enjoys variety in their role. The PAs very much work as part of a team, and they will need someone who is flexible, able to work efficiently, and has a strong eye for detail. The role would suit someone who is proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced professional environment.
Key duties will include:
- Providing PA and administrative cover to lawyers across the firm as required.
- Overseeing inbox management, prioritising communications and maintaining document systems.
- Drafting, formatting and proofing legal correspondence and documents.
- Coordinating complex diaries, meetings, travel and court commitments.
- Assisting with billing preparation.
- Acting as a professional point of contact for clients, counsel, courts and third parties.
- Preparing bundles, compiling documents and managing signature processes.
- Supporting new matter set-up, compliance checks and engagement documentation.
- Assisting with file closure, archiving and general practice administration.
- Carrying out online searches, filings and case updates via relevant portals.
- Providing occasional reception or telephone cover when required.
It is essential that you can demonstrate proven legal PA experience, strong organisational skills, and have the confidence to quickly build rapport with the team. Family law experience is not necessary but may prove to be an advantage. Experience using iManage software would also be an advantage. This is an excellent opportunity to work in one of the leading family law boutiques in London, dealing with ultra-high net worth individuals and cases. Hybrid working (2 days from home, 3 days in office) will be available after an initial probation/induction period.
