Job Purpose: As the generics market continues to evolve, ClarusONE recognizes the need to invest in initiatives to support both our new sourcing strategies including risk mitigation strategies, focused on developing differentiated sourcing models. The Lead, New Sourcing Initiatives position is a project-based role responsible for working cross-functionally across ClarusONE teams, our Members and our suppliers to support our overall strategic priority to create value as well as mitigate risk in the supply chain, ultimately increasing supply stability for our Members and their customers. The role will be responsible for identifying, developing and testing new sourcing strategies for identified products and categories, with the ultimate goal of embedding these into our regular sourcing practices. This role will work cross-functionally across teams in ClarusONE including Sourcing, Finance, Member Engagement, Analytics and Technology and will be responsible for partnering with these teams through any identified new strategic projects. The role will also partner and work directly with Members with Manufacturers as needed to gain a deep understanding of both customer needs and supplier goals to incorporate into all project-related work.
Responsibilities:
- Manage identified projects across multiple internal teams, including creation of developing problem statements that need to be solved and building out project plans and testing models.
- Conducting market and ClarusONE analysis on identified products and categories, both independently and in collaboration with the Analytics teams.
- Partnering with Sourcing Relations for any supplier-related insights, testing of new initiatives and ultimately the roll-out of any new programs or sourcing models.
- Effectively communicate to stakeholders as projects evolve, including progress, new findings, and prioritization needs.
- Responsible for opportunity identification to create value across all products, customer channels and suppliers.
- Responsible for driving alignment with other groups within sourcing & member engagement to ensure implementation and delivery of ideas identified, as well as partnering the Product team to ensure any new initiatives that have technology dependencies are built into the Product development plan and costed accordingly.

Requirements:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree; preference for Finance, Economics, Business or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, consulting, business development or product management.
- Pharmaceutical or healthcare experience preferable.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize throughout initiatives and effectively manage and report back to all stakeholders.
- Strategic and analytical thinker; ability to synthesise large data sets into actionable intelligence.
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organization.
- Highly motivated self-starter: ability to initiate and manage work with sense of urgency.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel- Pivots, VLOOKUP's, etc).
