Role Summary
The Supplier Relations and Sourcing Lead plays a critical role within the Sourcing and Commercial Operations team, driving strategic supplier partnerships and sourcing initiatives that deliver measurable value, mitigate risk, and align with ClarusONE’s business objectives. This role champions innovation, operational excellence, and a culture of proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement.
The Lead will maintain a strong connection to market and industry dynamics and collaborate cross-functionally with teams across ClarusONE - including Sourcing Execution, Finance, Member Engagement, Analytics, and Technology - to ensure seamless execution of supplier-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities and risks through data-driven insights, leading the development and execution of strategies that create value and reduce exposure.

  • Develop and implement supplier strategies, driving forward planning and goal alignment with key partners.

  • Deliver financial impact through complex negotiations, leveraging market intelligence and balancing value creation with risk management.

  • Cultivate and manage high-impact supplier relationships, including leading Business Review Meetings.

  • Collaborate across teams and with multiple stakeholders to enhance sourcing processes, elevating ClarusONE to best-in-class standards and ensure timely, effective delivery.

  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of initiative, innovation, and accountability.

  • Represent ClarusONE at industry events, positioning the organization as a thought leader in supplier relations and sourcing.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA preferred.

Critical Skills

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in retail, sourcing, consulting, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG.

  • Proven experience in supplier/category/contract management and financial analysis.

  • Familiarity with generic Rx, OTC pharmaceuticals, and consumer healthcare products preferred.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in synthesizing complex data into actionable insights.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Comfortable working across cultures and time zones.

  • Formal training in negotiations and/or demonstrated experience.
