About The Role
To manage the site engineering team to ensure they effectively maintain the automation and equipment within the branch, ensuring that the automated equipment and systems run to optimum efficiency in accordance with AAH/Knapp/Peem/Schaefer guidelines. You will manage specified HSE risks on site in line with AAH policies and procedures and to ensure legal compliance in terms of these risks. This includes management of contractors and maintenance of specialist plant (HVAC, Generators, Sprinkler systems etc.).
Accountabilities
- To assist and lead the engineering team in a 'Hands on' engineering capacity as and when required and to coach and develop capability within the engineering team.
- Assist with creating suitable preventative maintenance schedules and adopt learnings from root cause analysis of equipment failure.
- Collect and administer right-to-work checks in line with the legal requirement.
- To coach and develop the engineering team, utilising performance tools such as succession plans and training and development plans to identify and address any capability gaps and improve overall capability of the team.
- Ensure compliance to the maintenance schedule and plan and prioritise engineering tasks in line with site priorities.
- Ensure maintenance records and engineering activities are captured and recorded (using CMMS when implemented).
- Ensure that the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is fully utilised in line with company guidelines and all planned maintenance and corrective work is carried out in a timely manner.

About You
Essential:
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship
- HNC in an engineering discipline
- Team management & development experience
- Leadership and performance management training
- Project management experience
- CMMS experience
Desired:
- BEng or BSc in engineering discipline
- Recognised H&S qualification IOSH or NEBOSH
- Experience of maintenance strategies and lean manufacturing techniques
