We are seeking a motivated, reliable and hands-on Maintenance Operative to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). The successful candidate will support general maintenance, groundwork, and site operations, assisting with a range of practical duties to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role would suit someone with experience in maintenance, construction, groundwork, or general labouring who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general site duties, maintaining properties, grounds and equipment
- Operate light plant machinery as required
- Support the setup and preparation of work areas
- Ensure work areas are kept tidy, safe and organised
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Work effectively as part of a team or independently when required
Requirements
- Clean driving licence
- CSR card
- Experience with light plant machinery
- Good time management and reliability
- Mini digger / dump truck experience desirable but not essential
What We Offer
£13.50 - £14.50 an hour, depending on experience. Company van may be provided depending on experience and availability.
