The Job: You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. The Head Chef position is a great opportunity to move into an essential and secure industry. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.

The Head Chef will have:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience as a Chef, preferably in an aged care (or similar) environment.
  • Previous experience in total kitchen operations and site management in an aged care (or similar) environment.
  • Experience managing staff, as well as food and operational costs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge regarding nutrition and the importance of dietary requirements for aged care consumers.

You will also bring a real commitment to working safely, fabulous teamwork skills, basic computer skills and a passion for making a difference. Aged care experience preferred, but not essential for the right candidate.
